Big Mac Tacos

These Big Mac Tacos took the interwebs by storm a few months ago. I gave in to the viral sensation. Any chance to use a pickle and I’m there! Also, my husband is a die-hard Big Mac fan. Not only do our Bread & Butter Cucumbers feature on top, but I also managed to squeeze them in to the sauce! I posted a reel of my efforts. A few days later my friend sent me a photo of their dinner, using TDT Cukes! Can you call yourself an influencer if you influenced one person to try something…?! Seriously though, you should try these!

Makes 8

500g beef mince
8 x small white wraps
8 x cheese slices
Shredded iceberg lettuce
The Dill Tickle Bread & Butter Cucumbers

For the Big Mac Sauce
1/4 cup whole egg mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tbs TDT Bread & Butter Cukes, finely chopped
1 small purple eschallot, finely chopped
2 tsp American mustard
1 tsp white sugar
1/2 tsp white vinegar
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp table salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Mix all the sauce ingredients together and leave in the fridge until ready to serve.
Divide the mince into eight equal portions and then flatten onto the wraps. Squash it nice and thin, but leave a little bit of room at the edge. Season with a sprinkle of sea salt.
Heat a large frying pan on med-high heat. Place two wraps - meat side down - in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes or until meat is browned/crusty. Flip them over and add a slice of cheese on top. Place a lid on the pan and cook for another 1-2 mins, until cheese has melted.
Remove from the heat and add the shredded lettuce, some slices of Cukes and a big dollop of “The Sauce”.

My husband groans with pleasure whenever we eat these and loves that he can eat a Big Mac at home! As far as viral sensations go, this one is worth a try!
